Raw Milk
Raw milk is simply unprocessed milk. Milk in stores is processed through pasteurization and homogenization. Unfortunately these processes also kill the beneficial bacteria and break down the nutrients found in milk that mother nature intended for us to experience in our diets.
For many people these processing methods are what also causes many (not all) to experience lactose intolerance. Several of our herd share members that were experiencing lactose intolerance, are now able to enjoy drinking raw milk without side effects. Lactose intolerance affects everyone differently, but for many this is a way to reintroduce dairy into their diet.
